I feel embarassed :(
I feel embarassed :(
Took my 2 year old son to the local park today, everytime i took him previously its always been quiet or young families visiting.
this time there were alot of kids from the local high school, and some of the stuff coming out of they mouth even embarassed me.
seriously though, are these the next generation? ok im only 21, but some of the things said to each other, i wouldnt even say to that driver who was up my backside on the motorway today.
i question whether i want my son's to be in that enviroment in primary school and high school, and remeber some of these kids had primary school uniform on !
i keep thinking i should start saving now and get them a private education or send them to a Islamic school, were manners and culture is taught at a higher level then any high school.
ok fair enough i swear sometimes, but to myself never out aloud or very occasionally, but every other word to be swearing, my god, and going around the playground and spitting !
head down in shame...........
:cursing::cursing:
I know what you mean mate, it is getting worse and unfortunately I hear it every day. They just don't have the same respect as it used to be (and i'm only 28!!)
I worry what environment my little one is gonna go into, I was lucky enough to go to private school and never met any of these type of kids so thinking the same route if I can save up.
Saraj i know of one person on here that makes you swear (but we won't say who lol
I do know what you mean though but don't think that any school is different.
It is a shame that kids do not have respect for anyone these days.
It is also very worrying that kids as young as 10 have killed other children.

If you bring up your kids to know the wright from wrong then that means you have done a good job.
Kids swearing is just them trying to be More grown up.
And if all they do wrong in life is swear then good on them.
Everyone swears even though some will not admit to it.
:cursing::cursing::biggrin:
There is a LOT WORSE things in life !!!!!!!!!!
The problem is the so called "political correctness and Children's rights brigade" this has made life very hard for teachers/police to discipline children when they need to be disciplined.
Children are now only to well aware of their so called "rights" as are the parents looking for a quick buck should the teacher discipline their child - they can't even tell a child its been "naughty".
This society is FAR to lenient and soft touch. I understand the need for children to be safe but it has gone to far the other way now and children are IMHO at more risk because they are free to run wild with little or no consequences.
But its all down to the parents to bring them correctly, NO one else
Like I said before if they know right from wrong then all will be good.
Well thats what I did with my daughter who is now just about 21 , so I have proof it works.
Agreed Moley, BUT the school also has a huge influence on the child, if there is no discipline there then all your hard work could be undone.....
