Is250Brad It would require cutting an re-welding the cats back in. The precast are still in place.

Regarding Sprinter's question about the change of MOT regs, a tester should fail the car if they see that the cats are removed, which they will as MOT requires them to raise the car and look underneath. Do you plan to cut and re-weld the cats in for MOT, or do you have a 'friendly' tester that you use?

How would you know it's not meant to have a cat there though? I'd know, I work on them all day every day, but you're average little backstreet mot station might not come across them that often so wouldn't know what they're looking for, having said that I'd probably still pass it as the proper cats are in the manifolds
