The Bumble Beams
You are more than welcome round Phil, I've moved nearer Witham recently though so if you do fancy coming over let me know and I'll give you my new postcode.
I'm pretty sure the damper is the friction type. The car idled pretty roughly when it was fitted initially but it seems fine now. Even better now the earthing kit is fitted.
The rims have just come off of the car temporarily, one of them wasn't holding air so i'm going to get it re-seated. Nothing wrong with the alloy or tyre, just wasn't on the bead properly.
nice altezza mate, in the best colour!
where did you get the purple spray paint for the under bonnet items? ive struggled finding purple paint?
cheers
JJ
Cheers mate, there aren't many yellow ones around. Although everyone selling one on ebay seems to think they have the only one in the country...?
All the fuse boxes and air box are painted with plasticote matt rattle cans. I'll be re-doing them in a custom mixed 2k at some point in the future though.
Very small update.
I took the tez to Rabsters sometime last month to get the rear fogs wired in properly. After many fuses and brief periods hiding from the rain he succeeded.
When the fog light switch is turned off the lights work as side/brake lights.
When the fog light switch is turned on the lights work as fog lights.
It's easy to do this mod on a Lexus but not an Altezza apparently.
Cheers Rabster!

Some of you may have seen my latest modification on facebook.
For everyone else a young girl attempted to install her cars front end on mine:
So now the car is booked into a bodyshop. I'm having my sportcross bumper and trd front lip butchered together and skirts and rear lip painted and installed, as well as the damage being repaired...
Yep, the car is in the body shop now. It's having loads of extra stuff done at the same time. I think the total bill to the insurance company is about £1400. That doesn't include a bumper though as I had one ready to go on.

That would nearly be a cat d or worse a cat c if you hadn't had the bumper - lucky.
