Handles very well but on the limit it is hard to bring it back if it goes wrong, where as the MX5 you can just throw it into any corner.

I like the MK3 MR2, ****** lot of car for the stupidly cheap price, just a shame it never had more storage/boot space, if it did that car would have been a big hit.

Plus it downshifts faster than I can.The post facelift SMT shifts much faster and is a 6 speed, what's not to like?
Yeah, people say you shouldn't buy one as when they go wrong they are very expensive to fix. But if it breaks you still have the value in the car if you break it for parts, so it's no big deal IMO (and can be used to negotiate a lower price). Lovely to drive with, it makes someone who isn't a great track driver (can't heel & toe, **** at rev matching) feel like they are a much better driver Plus it downshifts faster than I can.
