Didn't use this drive a lot, I had one of the older eSATA 500GB versions, then got this due to the increased capacity. But then got my current LaCie 1TB drive because I wanted one that had USB 3.0 and eSATA on the same drive and I could transfer files quickly between my laptop (which only has eSATA) and my desktop (which only has USB 3.0)
  • Built-in backup/recovery/file syncing software
  • Custom drive name and remaining space displayed on front screen even when turned off, as shown in pictures
  • Built-in password protection

Drive works perfectly and was tested yesterday prior to packing. Any questions please feel free to ask.

Not by RJ45 like a NAS drive. But if you have a router with USB attached storage capability then you could connect it like that.

I had it connected to a Netgear router at work to test the online access for a bit, but as I have Google Drive cloud storage I never actually used it properly. Just connected it, transferred one file to test it and then unplugged it. But that depends entirely on your router.

No problem, the ee router I'm trying to get to work with my provider (not ee) has USB but I've already got the old Nas version of the my book so I'll stick with that

I used to have a WD MyBook 2 NAS drive, but I found the transfer speed to be so slow it was completely useless on a drive that size. Maybe a newer setup with Gigabit ethernet on the drive and router might be better though.

I do get annoyed as it takes a while, but I generally use it to back up pics/files, and then to store movies for streaming to atv2 and it seems to work for that ok

I've popped a bid on it. Completed listing searches came up with only one that has sold (in the UK, that is) and that was £37. Do you have a price you would take for it mate? (Avoiding ebay/paypal fees, etc.)

Confusedad: It was a tough call to make, but the Supercharged IS200 is being retired. Confusedad:
