I pick up my mx5 this week.
It's a mk1 in red so now it's pink in places lol.
But apart from a cone filter it's standard do I need to start modding again Wink

I think they 1600 revs more freely. The performance difference between the two is slim, I think. Though the later 1600s were less powerful, you want a 1.8 or an early 1.6 really.

Yeah being told 1,8 has more tourque the car we put the 1,8 in was a1,6 to start but on his way home it broke a rod an blew a hole in the block so hes got priety much a whole 1,6 engine there if you need out do a propper check underneath they can be propper rot boxes.
