I'll likely be moving home in the next couple of months, so what I'll save not paying rent I can put into my car.
I'm looking at either a 1JZ or 1UZ FE conversion.
1JZ is obviously going to win power wise in the end, however I'd LOVE to supercharge the 1UZ FE.
Does anyone know what sort of money the Vortech kits go for, and if these are the best kits to use?
What charger does it use?
Has anyone made their own kit?
Will I just be facing the same issues that you face when trying to make a kit for an IS200 that wasn't designed by TTE?

28-02-2021, 07:49 AM #2Fitting the 1uz is pretty simple thanks to thors kit, to charge it on top I'd be looking on the soarer forums, fitting it then seeing if it fits below the bonnet, if it doesn't then fibreglass a lump of get all mad max out the bonnet

Thors mounts are pretty pricey. Id have custom mounts made cheaper than that.
