good news at last
good news at last
after 6 months of fighting and writing letter to the insurance company they have finally confirmed they will fix my car. i guess it was the use of a lawer on them and they were having to pay that (win or loose) as it's in our home insurance. so handed in the keys and waiting for the news that it's fixed and ready to pick up.
yer it's been a long one. the master lock smith they sent to check the car said that 100% it was impossible to come in. so with both key locks broken the guys parked the car in the car park and locked it up with the key. then after i came back from sick leave i found the car battery dead and no way of coming into the car. so they went and opened it in 1 minute....so if a untrained body shop worker can come in then how can they say it's 100% impossible to come in. then as we have our home insurance and car insurance with them and our home insurance has legal costs up to 10,000 they were going to pay for my lawyer as well as there own. so today i got the letter saying they would fix it. total cost of over 8000+ pounds. looking forward to getting it back now. have been so disheartened with the car after the break in.
Good result. But I must have missed the topic on what happened to your car.
But well done on winning the battle with the insurance company
Good result, although unnecessarily drawn out.
yes they have done this kind of thing a few times now. not sure why but i think they are hoping people are just going to go away. any wat have changed insurance for the other car at the start off the year after it ran out. will do the same with the lexus as soon as it's time for that one to finish.
well car is ready to break.membership is paid up just waiting for it to activate before i can post on the for sale thread. but open to offers on all parts
