Some of you have probably seen this but I thought I would post it anyways for the sheer genius of it!Big Grin

Some college students in America experimented with a leaf blower hooked up to the air inlet on their cars and ran dyno tests on them with very surprising gains.

no surprises there really, the out from a leaf blower is far higher than that of the TTE SC and pressure wise i estimate about the same

Indeed, logic says that blasting some air, however you do it, into your intake is going to help bhp. The real question is the cost to do that though, e.g. the cost to power whatever is doing that blasting.

IS200 Turbo project now just about complete ! See my thread here and leave your comments.
Now running standalone Syvecs ECU and no stock ECU !

Interesting hybrid option must exist there surely? Have batteries that recharge off the engine and braking a la normal hybrids, which power effectively an electric turbo which fires air into the engine?

Obviously there isn't really an economy angle so unlikely anyone would take it up, but there have to be performance gains to be had by such an arrangement?
