Yeah. I did take the pads off a few weeks back and although I could wobble them about a bit, I didn;t think that they would have been the cause of the noise at the time.

I suppose I could pad the pads out with some bits of cardboard to see if that helps?

Turned out to be one of the pads missing half of the fitting kit!!

On the image below in part # 04947 it was missing one of the V shaped clips and both of the U shaped ones!!!

Not sure why it hasn't made noise sooner.

Unfortunately it's a quite well known local Lexus specialist who dropped the ball on this one.

Pretty **** annoyed really as I took the car in to have it looked at some different brake noise issues!!
