Very frustrating
Finished rebuilding, everything needed for a fire up is plugged in and bolted down. Turned it on the starter to build oil pressure before firing but for some reason the gauge wouldn't move so I can't tell if the pump is actually forcing oil around. I haven't touched it but the engine hasn't turned in a month so I spun her for ages and still no prrssure!

Just a few last covers etc and time for a proper road test
Got her running! Fine on idle, jacked the rear up and put in gear to let vvti engage, hit 8k no worries didn't miss a beat. So dam happy with that! Turns out the gauge is too high to rear the oil on the starter. Took the filter off and cranked it until oil came out to check the pump was working.
