Thanks Pat for today, for organising it and encouraging us to go along and see what it was all about. The venue was so easy to find and get to, our meeting point was well chosen and the times. It was nice to see everyone and have a chat beforehand. The speed humps (in case you get to give feedback ) did suck but I think Matt had more trouble than me. The venue itself was lovely and the facilities in and around were good. The event itself was smaller than I'd expected but it was their first and there were plenty of suppliers there so we didn't lack choice. The stands doing product demo's were quite interesting and I think my only feedback would be displaying a list of times they started would have been handy as some were so busy you couldn't see and when you came by again they were half way through one. Guys who didn't go, you missed some stunning models... you idiots :p There was a big indoor display car area and I think out expectations were they were displaying the products so we were a little shocked to see scratches and swirls ... but in hindsight, I think they were just displaying a selection of historic or rare cars and some were in the pro show and sine event thing. I had a lovely day and I think more Outlaws would have really enjoyed it. It was quite nice to have a smaller group and it was great to have a good old chinwag and catchup over coffee break and lunch though.
Thanks again, it was a lovely day. Oh and Paul, it was lovely to meet your adorable son. What a polite and well behaved child you have there. He was excellent company when he wandered around with us, and his genuine interest in everything was so refreshing and how he just soaked up and retained all the jap car information we gave him.. Lovely boy!
Was a great show to spend some time with everyone, I think we all enjoyed ourselves and was great to chill out with a coffee and chat.
I agree paul ur lad was so good, we walked around talking cars and speaking about waxes and kit.
Hopefully the show will make some simple changes to make it even better next year
