Unbelievably they said "they weren't linked to the cameras" so can't say whether you've been in or not! :cursing:
I replied with "you b****y well are linked to the cameras as that's how you'll send me a penalty fine if I have crossed into the zone!"
The advice they gave me was that their clock is based on 123, so ring 123 and check whether your car clock is the same........yeah right, just paid the £4 as that really isn't worth the aggro but just annoys me so much at how the system was set up as a big con right from day one! Wish I could do this :Chair: to big ken........

Had to head into town yesterday and despite trying to time it perfectly, I ended up crossing into the zone when it said 6.01pm on the clock in the car. For those that don't know the zone ends at 6pm so rang them up to ask whether I'd need to pay or not.

Since Ken has pushed us off the road are there more trains and buses, i think not?
Farm animals can not be pushed into the spaces on train tubes and buses like they expect us to fill

iLLzLex I agree...I sometimes got to go dentist and need to go through zone 1....
But its all money for the donuts for the po po and the fat politicians...speed cameras, parking fines, congestion, tolls... the whole shebang
Would be nice to know where the money goes - definitely isn't the roads as the ones in c.london are horrendous at the mo, proper disgrace for foreign visitors when we claim to be one of if not the greatest city in the world.......

Since Ken has pushed us off the road are there more trains and buses, i think not?
Farm animals can not be pushed into the spaces on train tubes and buses like they expect us to fill
Everytime I drive through central london it makes me wonder if someone carefully looked at all the traffic lights, scrapped all the unnecessary crossings and all the bus lanes, how much faster would traffic move through london and would the buses move any slower?
Never really use buses, but have to agree about the tube, it's an awful experience that I prefer to avoid.

Think how much quicker traffic would move if you moved all of these out of London MPs and Goverment Officials Red Ken and his looneys MI5 Scotland Yard abbassador of Embassy Etc:

ALSO....i recently read in the paper...that foreign ambassadors (you know how all the foreign embassies are based in the congestion zone) owe this government MILLIONS of £....and they are refusing to pay...their ambassador cars are always travelling in an out of congestion charge zone, but they are not paying...foreigners...I think US owes like 12 mil and Russian 8 mil...

I guess so, but personally I think with a bit of positive (rather than negative) road planning London would flow so much easier.
Anyone been watching that Kevin McCloud Grand Tour thing that's on at the mo? It's amazing how backwards we were in our town planning hundreds of years ago and how that mentality still hasn't changed today.
