Welcome to Jay
Welcome to Jay
Hello.... Again....
Well where do I start, joined around 5 years ago back when I was the proud owner of an is200 running around 250bhp. Sold that and bought a 700bhp r32 gtr, amazing fun but after two years of awesomeness I decided I needed something a bit more sensible, ended up with a Porsche 996 gt3 rep, great car to drive but just didn't have the space inside I needed, next up was an S4 avant, more like it, space and power but with winter coming I sold it and bought an L200, poured endless money into that and sold to to someone in Latvia in the end. There was a good few other dailys in there (estima, trooper, pajero, fiesta, civic, mg, escort to name a few).
5 years have flown past, and looking back I've had some good cars. I'm now driving an old transit I bought for £300 and give it it's due it been fine but not exactly as luxurious or powerful as what I used to have.
Having had a few years to save up I'm considering buying my next toy so decided I'd re-join and get some inspiration.
Welcome back mate!
Sounds like quite a car journey since the lex lol
Yeh mate, been through quite a few since I sold the lex, just couldn't settle on another car after that. Wonder where the lex ended up in the end and if it's even still on the road?
Toying with the idea of an altezza but wouldn't mind something a bit newer like an is250. Got the money to play with now so just a matter of time until I find something.
I see on you've still got yours, amazing, how's she running these days?
She's running ok, going mapping soon to finally get a power figure.
Should get yourself along to jae this year
Ha sweet, what sorta power you hoping for?
I would be tempted to come down to jae but only having a transit now it would be a long drive from Aberdeen, used to take around 7-8 hours, would probably need to give a day each way now lol. My current quickest form of transport is my push bike which I do more miles on than the van.
Maybe next year I'll have something worth bringing down.
Don't really know for power, just nicely mapped, and useable without killing the engine immediately
