It's definitely not easy to work out where to go lol absolute nightmare getting it to fit and it doesn't even fit quite right.

Pulled a mega late night last night to just smash through it and it's now ready to be welded! 1 bit is very close, the collector actually rests on another tube so might get some funny vibration but I think it should be fine. Space is so limited and my bends aren't really tight enough to fit in there but seems to be ok so far! once it's welded and moves about maybe it will free some space. Probably not.

Who wants to see some car porn?

Was ALOT of work and a few very very late nights but its done! Some bits are a bit of a bodge atm but all those bits will get changed later anyway. Ran it with just the manifold and collector, it sounds AMAZING. here's a vid, not sure how good the quality will be tho http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MI7XmIA0cME
2.5 inch downpipe didn't fit cos the bend was way too long unfortunately so had to bodge it awith a 2 1/4. Leaks alot but itl get me to traxx Atleast. Pipe just goes to the bottom of the engine bay and bends back stopping right under the bulkhead. it's incredibly loud and smashing through the gears on the redline she sounds fantastic and bangs with every change. Pretty happy with the result!

more problems!

Welded a bung on the sump for the turbo return

Look nice in there

Feed and return, looks racey! Didn't realize how low the sump was to the ground though

Finally got to fire it up and started of ok for a few seconds.spools very fast. However after a while I started to get some oil out the back of the turbo.

Such a pain in the ass. I've got a -8 fitting as the drain because the turbo has a -8 fitting on the bottom so I presumed it would be enough. I'm hoping that it is the drain being too small an not leaking seals. Oil pressure did sit quite high so I think it is the drain. Will drill out the middle of the fitting as much as I can and hope for the best. Going to get the return as vertical as I can too just to rule that out completely should it still leak

Yea redone the return and it seemed to b draining much better. I compared it to the return on the wrc car which the turbo is from and mine is bigger and better flowing. BUT it still leaks. Bit less than before and smokes ALOT when I rev it. I have 2 turbos so I stripped one down and the bearings fell out in my hand and the balls were oval. Gota send it away see if they can rebuild it and ballance it a decent price. It all looks pretty standard inside, nothing too special apart from the bearings being ceramic. Money is pretty tight though so it might b running na for some time Sad
