Skyline 34 gtr... chances of unmolested versions?
Probing the waters as i saw one here the other day. . Until recently the skyline was banned from Swiss roads due to no approval.
So having some random thoughts... whats it like as a daily driver, fuel usage etc and most importantly. . What are the chances of finding an un modded version : original wheels un modified engine or least nothing that raise suspicion oh also original suspension etc....
A pipe dream?
Its possible to find good examples but they demand a high price. As for using as a daily it'll more than likely go through fuel like crazy!

I was always told if you even think about fuel economy when looking to buy a skyline, don't buy a skyline. I drive the r32 gtst (rb20det) and I guess I get 18-20mpg if I am lucky. (Optimistic but I've never worked if out)
The rb26dett I believe returns about the same mpg, tbh I imagine it would be more like 15 if you drive it properly.

Rob,
Have a look at these guys, they seem to import a fair number of rare Jap cars. And there isn't much more rare a car than an unmodified R34 GTR...

They do tend to get priced around the £30k mark though!
As rare as an un molested Supra!!
