its pretty small mate but i went with 2" pipework mainly due to the space thats there

Thats smaller than I thought it would be. Is there any advantages or disadvantages of going with bigger or smaller diameter piping ?

Small pipes 2" are fine for low boost applications.

The intercooler kit I gave to Pat was on my old almera running 270bhp low boost 330bhp on high boost. Any more than that it was getting heat soak and became insufficient. Plus being smaller pipework it boosted quicker.

2.5" cooler piping just allows a larger amount of air to pass freely and quicker. I changed out to 2.5" towards the end... But I went to a twin pass intercooler so I could shorten the run to the cooler. This way I didn't get any lag after the change. Instant boost Wink

i still had same diameter piping on my IS200 Turbo when i converted up but space was the main issue
