I guess a few of you guys will of bought bits from Japan? just have a question if anyone can help? ive got a package coming from Japan dyno I keep tacking it & its been "awaiting customs charges" in Coventry for 3 days now? does this meen im gonna get a bill to pay and will it ever actually leave Coventry?
if you dont get the parcel soon... you will get a letter from customs asking you to pay another 20% of the value on the box.

Basta#ds! I spose I had no need to pay extra for the 5 to 7 day delivery then, thought that sounded quick for something coming from so far away. At least its only a cheap bit 20% won't be much. They had an Impul spoiler I nearly when for, 20% of that would of been a bit of a pain.
Edit : gave them a call & they were very helpful they have told me the charge will be £20.36 (which is a lot when the order was for only £31) and it should be in leeds by Friday I can then pay them over the phone and get it sent out which she says will be quicker than waiting for the bill to come in the post. she also says for future reference that pretty much everything from overseas is getting delayed and charged atm.
I guess there would be no point in me calling parcel force to see if I could rush things along then? see if I can pay over the phone rather than wait for a letter to come?

You can call PF but it might not actually be with them, it could actually be customs. Give them a shout though. If it is with them then they will be posting you a letter telling you what you owe, but you can get that info on the phone, pay on the phone and ignore the letter speeding it all up.
