Nice one! Its a good feeling getting you're car back on the road, but I always seem to drive around for the first couple of days without the radio on, just listening for noises lol. Anyone else do that?

yes have missed driving her glad shes back out, carnt say the same for the weather at the moment.

Johnh - ditto listening for any rattles all the time.

got a very slight vibration above 30 its going to Aline for checking and setting up the rear geometry also to rebalance the wheels, i had 2 part worns fitted to the rear a few days before the MOT as they looked very low in the centres, im not sure they are balance properly as the wheels was left with a garage overnight.

Ive used Aline before with my is200 and they set it properly with Wim settings i had of Tony and the guys are very professional at Aline, it is the only place i would let set up my car other than Wim but its a bit of a journey there and back

Got the vibration sorted the night before the alignment it was down to worn inner cv cups on the back im on the look out for some more as one was very badly worn, on the cv cups you can swap them from side to side as when you do this they run backwards so the pressure when accelerating is on the other face to what it was running previous.

Went down to Aline on Saturday morning got there about 8am there was a nice porsche turbo and a z4 3.0 there waiting and had a good convo with the guys waiting for the shop to open. the car was really undriveable on the way there every time you press the go pedel is wanted to shoot over the other side of the road but it is sort of in spec now got to as close to some fast road settings as we could and now ive got confidence in the car again it really grips and hardly any tire sequel when really pressing on in the corners.

Drivers side cv cup hardly any wear

Passenger side cv cup bad wear

Been on the road a few weeks now all good so far not used it much just the odd blast on the weekends it really dose grip in the corners ive got my confidence back in it. as before the alignment it was all over the place and scary.

New gearbox fluid in and done and engine oil change the engine oil filter that came off was the wrong one as it was a lot smaller than the new original honda one which is a PCX 004 so peace of mind that is done now

I find the size of oil filters varies a lot in the aftermarket. Quite often with jap stuff they are smaller than the original, I get supplied Blueprint filters mostly for Japanese cars and I would say a good 7/8 out of 10 are smaller. Don't know why? Never known of it causing any probs tho.
