My Black 202 Supra
My Black 202 Supra
Looking good mate. Although I'm confused by the fan shroud.
Although it's slightly lifted some fan should pull through the whole rad, does it not mean the radiator is less effective until the fans are on?
Like the viscous fan,I've wired the fans to come in on ignition 2 so they are always on.
Later on I will invest in a thermal switch and get them to come in after a fixed temperature..
But ignition 2 will be fine for now... At least they are wired in properly now instead of hard wired to the battery
Little more progress and more parts fitted.
Earlier I fitted a IS200 wheel on to the Supra.
Felt nice to drive with compared to the original wheel.
But the Champaign silver sides just didn't work with the rest of the interior.
So I purchased a mint condition perforated leather IS300 wheel... this wheel I purchased had the cruise control stick on it.
This gave me an idea... I took the wheel apart and retrofitted the cruise control stick and the backing plastics and harness in to the champagne silver wheel...
Put both wheels back together and fitted the solid black wheel in the Supra and the champagne silver one in the GS300.
Champagne silver side wheel in GS300 with working cruise control.
Much nicer than the old wheel.
Was down at Silverstone this weekend for Trax.
She got loads of attention.. (been tagged in so many photos... but they are all the same angle..)
So here's my favourite out of the lot.
Cheers for looking.
Looks great mate!
Nikita has gone over a minor freshen up...
New wheels, Bomex skirts, Do Luck rear diffuser, gold badges.. and I have new spats but they are not fitted yet.
But as pics say 1000 words.
Front lip are fixed after somome stood on it.
New wheels...
New Gold badges front and rear... and also a Do Luck rear diffuser.
Here's the latest pics of Nikita in her new style.
Cheers for looking
Really coming along to having your own stamp on it mate. Looks great.
Cheers Stav,
Here is a few pics from JAE this year... would just like to thank all that voted to make Nikita best in show.
Also a massive thank you to Dan Harris for giving Nikita an awesome detail before JAE... its the best shes ever looked!
Whilst at JAE i got the chance to fit the new 4 pot UK speck calipers and 330mm discs.
I have now finally finished off my body kit...
Its taken some time of searching and finding the right collection of parts to make the kit work with the rest of the styling... but i am now finally happy with the way she looks.
The side skirts and spats and maybe the front bumper will be going in for a respray before next show season to tidy them up and to get them looking there best.
Before...
After...
Back end...
Might have to go and get a new exhaust system as the backbox fires the fumes slightly into the passenger rear spat... or ill just cut it off and re position it later next year...
Thanks for looking.
