Hi Pat,

If that was to me, its hard to really say as I had the Poly bushes and bigger wheels and tyres at the same time, so hard to say which does what. All I know is that together the car is spot on, certainly have less wheelspin and more secure in bends and at roundabouts. Will also help in the wet too. I just thought if I was going to do it I would do it properly.....

Yeah I'm now running 225/45/18 soon to be 2254018 front and it'll be either 235 or 245 40 or 35 18 on rear to try keeping the sidewall the same size....

I have 8.5 X 18 wheels, with 225/40 but would like more rubber on the road especially at the back, but without going any firmer. what will fit under the standard arches at the rear, I have had the arch lip cut away. will 235/40 fit ok?
