Hello all, I'm Alex, 28 from Darlington. Just sold my JDM hawkeye impreza and its time for a new project. I found the forum whilst researching a supercharged Lexus IS200. Looks like i'll be going the custom route as the chances of finding a TTE kit for decent money is looking unlikely.
Anyways thought i'd post a few photos of my cars past and present below.
My first car - Yaris SR
MR2 Rev 3 Turbo
Yaris T Sport
Civic Type R
Bugeye Impreza WRX
JDM Hawkeye Impreza
Mazda Euno JDM J Limited
As for the IS200 i've got a few ideas but something along these lines would be what I'm aiming for. Supercharged up to 210-250bhp
Welcome mate!
Nice selection of cars you've had!

Cheers for the comments :-) Yeah the Mr2 was a great car unfortunately became a money pit by the end. Sold my Subaru last month to buy my first house so thinking a charged IS200 will be a nice compromise between fun and practical. Found loads of info on the site already spent most my evening reading "Lexuspats" build thread and making a shopping list of parts!
As for the IS200 on eBay it's a little bit high on mileage for me. Going to be looking for a black sport model as a base around 60-90k on the clocks with good history so I know I'm starting with a good foundation for the build. I'm a CNC machinist/design engineer so producing the cradle etc shouldn't be to much of an issue. My car mechanical knowledge is ok but this will be the most I've fettled with the actual engine itself so I'm really looking forward to it.
Welcome to the club like the cats from ur past some really nice ones in there.
With regard the cradle it has to be made right to the correct spec I loan out a jig that makes a 100% copy of the oem tte cradle which saves alot of time and hassle.
If ur looking around that millage on an IS make sure the cam belt has been done as the book says 100k but in fact it needs doing around the 60k
