I stumbled across an altezza grill which I've hated up until I tried one on my car and now ive swayed. [Image: 4be1db46f032cfc3b1225670018de3a8.jpg]

My car was broken into and my head unit swiped damaging the amp bypass and surround in turn. [Image: d4382fd4aca9712eee54412ef5837f9d.jpg]

I had to sell my mazda wheels a spare engine and sport suspension to replace the impact gun also stolen.
Then was offered another is200 with some modifications on it. So I've found a buyer who has agreed to let me keep the wheels whilst they take the rest of the car and I haven't got to shell out at all... Oh yeah 5 aeros... Nice touch can't wait to get em back on. Now to get another head unit that support gps, reverse camera etc etc...

I had my Escort broken into some years back. ****** smashed the drivers side window to nick my £30 stereo. Had they tried the passenger side door they could have saved me the trouble of replacing the window!

Yeah the thing that bugs me is I know for a fact it was at 4:10am and there was 2 people. And I also know it was a N/A 4cyl small engine most likely fairly skinny wheels. Like corsa B / C standard exhaust 16v engine as I heard them drive off through kitchen the alarm didn't go off until they unlocked the car from inside to reach over and grab the impact gun from passanger footwell. My lord the glass gets everywhere doesn't it! They had the stereo before the alarm went off.

So the alarm only went off once they had reached into the car, factory alarm I take it? I don't like the sound of that!

Yeah no matter how well you clean it out, you'll be finding bits of glass for months afterwards lol.

Yeah the motion sensor or whatever sort of sensor it is in the rear dome only seams to work behind the drivers and passanger seat.... It is factory yes.

Hmmmm might have to look into a new alarm if factory ones are that poor.

New? Nah I'm keeping mine as much cleaner but the one I was offered had 5 aeros, cwest front lip, halos, led tails manifold fmic and open filter etc sold that on for what I was offered it without the wheels Smile

sorry to hear you were broken into i know how you feel, the factory alarms are a bit poor if i do say so i fitted various alarms to cars now all with Prox Trigger to minimize this happening in the future
