right, problem time again:

recently tried to use the 12v socket in the car, much to my annoyance, it doesnt work...so i checked the fuse box, and the fuse was missing in that slot. managed to get a new one, it still does not work.

took all the trim off to get to the back of it, its all connected and i cant see any issues.

anyone got any ideas? im not really a car electronics whizz, so this has me stumped.

Check for voltage mate with multimeter and trace wire back till you find it

turns out it was a knackered relay under the dash, luckily i had one lying around, finally i can use a satnav in my car! haha

im around an hour and a half in, and in the process of cutting off some of the mounts that protrude from the bumper, the light has failed me, so ive had to stop
