24-08-2016, 02:48 AM #1I've always wondered this, and I don't understand what the "P" signifies if someone says they've got a "PS14" or "PS13" as opposed to just S14/S13 ?

All a bit confusing really, best to leave it to one of the drift boys they seem to know there 200sx's/Silvia better then anyone else.
The pS13 was a silvia where as the s13 was a 200sx. The difference being the ps13 came with a sr20 det engine and different styling. Where as the s13 had the ca18det and the flip up lamps. With the s14 i thinks its a bit different my friend has the s14 silvia which look the same as the uk spec s14 but had the different turbo. I had another mate which had a s14a silvia which had the s14a front end and the s14 rear end.
All a bit confusing really, best to leave it to one of the drift boys they seem to know there 200sx's/Silvia better then anyone else.
is it a import vs uk difference (can't remmeber if the s14 was ever sold in the uk actually) ?

thats the production stuff then comes the confusing bit, (front end conversions) iirc it started in japan when people where drifting on the mountain rounds and had a front end wack, silvia front ends where cheaper to buy in bits than the 180sx (pop up lights) so then the sil80 was born.
1.sil80 = 180sx with a silvia frontend
2.onevia= silvia with a 180sx frontend
3.s13.5= s15 with a 180sx frontend
4.s14.3=180sx with a s14 or14a frontend
5.s14.5 s14/14a with a s15 frontend (this is also now as the strawberry conversion)
imsure theres some combo's ive missed but heres a few pics to give you the idea

It seems that if you can get your hands on the Nismo 270R this could be a real collectors piece.
Does seem like even the members of the SXOC have problems with what is what on models when those models came and went out of production.

Lexusboy 270 R Had 50 built so with the one that got smashed up (fromSXOC) that knocks it down to 49
I wounder how many there are left out of the 50 made
theres a few fakes out there because the kits are readily avalible but the big give away is the interior that says 270r all over it.
cant see there being that many left maybe 30 atm
