As title say RX8 stereo removal.
The steps are:

- Unscrew the gear knob.
- Pop off the shifter cover. It is all clips. Start where the parking brake is and work your way around.
- Remove two screws at the bottom of the ashtray. Pull it out and then remove the two connectors and the light. For the light, just stick a screwdriver in the top white tab and push it out.
- Remove the two black screws just under the A/C area.
- Remove the black panel under the steering wheel. the two clips are at the top and then it just falls out.
- Unscrew the silver metal plate that is just under the previous plastic piece.
- Now you can look at the side of the radio and see a silver bolt that holds it in. There is only one. Use a 10MM socket with a hinge on it to access this bolt.
- Pull the radio out. There are a few clips at the top, so you need to give it some effort.
- Remove the two connectors for the A/C.
- Remove the two radio connectors and connector for the antenna. The connectors are a bit of a pain, but I used a small screwdriver to press at the base of the clip to disengage it so the connector would just slide out.

That's it! Good luck.
