VXR_A15LPX Is the barrel completely not working now?!!At this present time not working but not had chance to mess about with it yet.

Normally as soon as the key touches the barrel the steering wheel jumps into action positioning itself to my driving position but not now & this is as far as the key goes.

Told him if they had one in stock I'd take one.
A few clicks later off he went only to return to tell me they have none in stock & have stopped making/supplying them
He told me to try & see if I can get it rebuilt by a specialist.
The search to rectify this goes on.

So today I managed to get to Mr T to enquire about a new ignition barrel & key,
Very happy with the price £39 +vat.
Told him if they had one in stock I'd take one.
A few clicks later off he went only to return to tell me they have none in stock & have stopped making/supplying them
He told me to try & see if I can get it rebuilt by a specialist.
The search to rectify this goes on.

going to see what's compatible within the Toyota/lexarse family after I get a quote for a rebuild.
It won't really matter if a new key is needed as the one I'm having problems with is ignition only
my other key is for doors,boot,& little master lock that stops someone opening boot & fuel cap by the switches..
I'll get to drive this thing one day..
