cared: :crying:My initial thought were not happy ones, but I've since realised that *hopefully* this should still be covered by the anti-perforation warranty, which is 12 years long (longer than I had been thinking, my car is almost 10 years old).
It certainly looks like the rust it coming up from the inside. I will have to take it to Lexus and see what they say !

17-05-2016, 11:16 PM #1When I was out at the MB BBQ meet yesterday with Davros from LOC (hopefully he will be joining here soon), we both noticed a small piece of rust on each of the A-pillars of my IS200, on the inside of the drainage channel that runs down past the windscreen, near the top ! cared: :crying:

18-05-2016, 12:35 AM #3Yeah it's 12 years for perforation, i.e. rust coming up from the inside, which is what mine looks like (e.g. it's still under the paint). Just 3 years though for surface stuff.

That is a bit of a shock, never heard of rust on an IS200, hopefully they'll sort it under warranty for you.

Yes but it's got stamps in the service book, and I think they'd have to show that something wrong was done by someone to cause the rust, in order to wriggle out of the warranty.
