hi there

How about a specific area for people to post build up threads,

Once started the owner can add more pics and comments on their progress

Just an idea!

Oh and how about a regional area? maybe easier to sort out meets for specific areas

Hmm it is a good idea mate, though normally people just put them in the relevant forum for their car.

will raise it with the mods.

I like the idea of a project area too

What sort of thing were you thinking of ? Right now we have sub-forums for UK North/Midlands/South, for meets etc. Did you mean to further break this down ?

IS200 Turbo project now just about complete ! See my thread here and leave your comments.

That would be good, as of right now the new guys that come to the site would not see them as they get covered up if someone post about a mod they have done to there IS, but if you had a area just for builds and swaps :thumbup1:

great idea to have a projects/builds thread, they have the same thing on mkivsupra forums and it proves really easy to find threads of this nature Smile

Sorry when I posted the region thing I hadn't seen the one that already exsists! Buit if there was the volume of members you could split it down further. For example I live in west yorkshire, if there was a yorkshire area, I could go striaght to it to see if there was any local meets any time soon!

The build up thread came from the civic owners forum. It is just nice to go to one place and see how peoples cars are coming along. It was so easy to find and keep tabs on fav cars

As you say, if we had the volume of members to justify it, volume of meets going on etc, then we could split it down further exactly as you suggest.

Right now I don't think we've got enough members/meets going on to make it worthwhile to split further, and I suspect it could be counterproductive (e.g. you might look in the Yorkshire forum and not notice any meets but have to check the Lancashire forum to see one that you might be interested in, or worse still perhaps miss it). What do you think ?

We've started up a new "Project Cars" forum, please let a moderator know if you have an existing thread that you would like to be moved there. Enjoy !
