I need a sat nav, was looking at a cheap and cheerful one, but then thought ill get on with bluetooth built in for hands free.

I like this in halford at a good price, what you reckon?

actually just noticed you cannot buy it at the moment

http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/store...V-M-2#dtab

theres a few on ebay going cheap, any recomendations?

Can't go wrong with the TomToms and the bluetooth works well, I especially like the function that reads out your text messages - it's useful as well as incredibly amusing Smile

Nope I've got the older generation version, it's the TomTom Go 910 (replaced now by the 920). The newer ones have got lots of new kit I believe so should be pretty nice.

Also worth looking at the TomTom One - slightly less feature packed, but have a nice portable size.

Have heard the Garmins are good too, but don't have any experience of them.

The good thing about the 9xx series is that they have US maps onboard as well, which is the main reason we have ours Smile
