It certainly always pays (IMHO) to do an HPI check on anything you're buying, especially if it's not from a dealer (because with a dealer you get certain protection under consumer laws, and you get pretty much zero protection if you buy from a private seller).

In today market i would only buy from a person that i had hpi records done and not some one else copy.
Then i would want to see the v5 and i would only buy the car if the paperwork match the sellers address.
Different thing if buying from a main dealer but hpi record would be requested by me again.

Just been offered a 2.5ltr jaguar, :Chair:

I wouldn't swap unless i was 100% sure on the car and its history anyway guys, but its fun seeing what's on offer at the moment :wink:

I wouldn't swap unless i was 100% sure on the car and its history anyway guys, but its fun seeing what's on offer at the moment :wink:

Mate i changed my mind. Go for that MR2 Turbo, take wheels off though, theyre awful.
