Where on a 2000 RAV 4 can I find the OBD plug? before I start pulling the dash panel apart.

Colin you normally find these under the steering wheel slightly to the right.
I am lead to believe it 14inches below the s/wheel

Found it and got the codes do you know where I can go to find out what
part(s) the codes represent?
Code 1= System to lean bank 1 ECM P-0171
Code 2= System to lean bank 2 ECM P-0174

Now running standalone Syvecs ECU and no stock ECU !

thanks guys dont know how to tell if it's a late gen1 or early gen 2 its on a Sep 2000 plate RAV 4 nv vvti 2.0. looking at the list of possibiltities for the cause its hit and miss but I will persist

Funny thing Colin is the generation changed from 1 - 2 in 2000

Have a look at this site for difference
