Today I bit the bullet and flashed a new ROM to my phone. It's one based on Windows Mobile 6.5 (could have chosen 6.5.1 if I wanted, but I wanted to err on the side of stability), and seems very cool so far. A few (generic, not from my phone) screenshots :
Is that the HTC UI? Does look very nice - similar to the Hero ROM which I'd love to have on my Magic.
Yep, it's just the Touch Flo3D 2.1 interface. The new HTC HD2 has a new version 2.5 of that interface, now re-branded HTC Sense, which you can get in some custom ROMs for my phone - however, that's a little more bleeding-edge, for example it doesn't work in landscape mode when you slide open the keyboard (the HD2 doesn't have a hardware keyboard).

That does look very nice, they've clearly done a lot of work to really tidy up windows mobile........why does the HD2 not have a landscape mode, despite not having a keyboard, does the screen not flip when it's turned on it's side?
