P.Lindblom In Sweden a super common solution to lower the CO dramatically is to just pop down to the nearest petrol station and give the car like 20-30% E85 (bio ethanol fuel), that more or less eliminates the CO emissions completely.
I have no idea myself about the technicalities/safety of this, but Patrik was only suggesting putting a small amount of E85 into an existing tank of unleaded, not filling the car completely with it :

ormi You can't use bioethanol E85 in a car with a fuel system designed for existing petrol engines.Trust me, it's not a problem at all. I've driven my IS200 on 50% E85 many times and a lot of people do as it's cheaper than petrol, more environmentally friendly and can give your car a bit more power
