You could use the metal soap filled ones on the charger mate to give it a good clean first, but yes the green scouring pad is what i meant :thumbup1:
Or if you can get hold of a scotch brite wheel, they work really well :thumbup1:

Shouldn't take you too long mate, its just getting in the grooves that's a bit of a pain to do?
Plus you don't really need to do underneath the charger as its not seen :laugh:
