I'll to get a pic in the daytime to show more clearly, but if you look head on at the headlight, you can actually see that the bottom is dark, as no light is getting to it from the bulb.

I need to check this in the light also, but I don't think the bulb actually sits perfectly straight with the obscured part directly at the bottom in the IS200 headlamp, and that's why there is a very small amount of upward scatter still.

But yes I was impressed too that it actually works and highly recommend them

One other thing, the kits unfortunately cost more from HIDs4u than other suppliers, but if you stick in the promo code TOYOTA PRO or STRATHY you get a £40 discount :thumbup1:

Not a bad cut off on them mate for a set of hid's, :thumbup1:

Might be worth popping into an MOT place, to see if they will line them up for you on the beam test, so you get the best out of them?

Yeah was thinking about doing that, I did stick some tape on the garage door for the level the halogens were at - the left one is bang on but as you can probably see the right is slightly higher than it was before.

I could have a go at levelling it myself, but it does make more sense to use a proper beam machine

I had mine done when i fitted them to mine mate, and they didn't charge me anything to do them,

but it did make quite a bit of difference to the beam after having them done? :thumbup1:
