toxo OK OK new engine build Tongue Pedant!

It would be great if we could figure out a way to tell the electronics for the auto IS200s/300s to lock in gear. I'm sure there must be a way to do it somehow ...

IS200 Turbo project now just about complete ! See my thread here and leave your comments.

is it worth a look through the American IS sites - they all have autos??

In the US there was a manual IS300, so they're not all autos. Good point though, they'd probably have more autos over there.

Post 1000:w00t:

I would be happy to come down for a RR day. Be interesting to see what if any the difference between SPC's dyno and SRR's.

Then again we could just as easily have a Club RR day at SPC?

Yeah, you could easily but IME you need numbers to make it worthwhile, a) for cost reasons and b) to make it a better event. We got 20+ cars last time and probably 30+ people, and IIRC it was £35 a head. A plus point for us was having Ryan there to talk to as he is very well respected in the MR2 community and he does a lot of work with Charlie at SRR.

I dunno if you'd get the numbers required through OJC alone, but then SPC might be more inclined to do you a deal as it were, because you're well known to them. No harm in asking Big Grin

2tongues I would be happy to come down for a RR day. Be interesting to see what if any the difference between SPC's dyno and SRR's.

It's the same Dyno Dynamics Rolling Road at both places. I mentioned SRR to Wayne a while back and he thought the results should be nigh-on identical.
