23-10-2016, 06:36 AM #12Dual-mass flywheels should in theory be smoother, since they dampen vibration. Maybe they're fine on most cars but just a few have problems with them ? I dunno.

23-10-2016, 06:38 AM #13Smoother but shorter lifespan perhaps ? Do manufacturers perhaps bank on them working well for the warranty period but then perhaps failing after that earlier than a solid flywheel would ?
