I was glad still to be in my Clio hire car today. On returning home, I have to drive up a short section of steepish hill, and the Clio was wheel-spinning pretty easily. I dread to think how the Lex would have done ! No more snow, this is just snow and ice left from the last few days.

IS200 Turbo project now just about complete ! See my thread here and leave your comments.
Now running standalone Syvecs ECU and no stock ECU !

Just got myself totally stuck about an hour ago, had to pick my sis up from a friends place just 5 mins away, took me 15 mins to get the car moving! Their road was one of those ones with a really aggressive curve in it, so just couldn't get it away from the kerb (rear wheel slid into the kerb a few times, thank god for the rim protector that seems to have saved my alloy!)

Eventually got out by using the rear end slide to get the car to about 45 degrees with the kerb, and then reverse up onto it - then could use the soft snow on the pavement to get a little grip and that was the only way out!

Hopefully won't have to experience that again Confusedad:

No snow here Sad bit of frost on the roads this morning, but that's the extent of it.

Car got stuck on the garden this morning, and it took a while to open the door!

Icy roads, almost fell over in Asda car park! :blushing: Quite embarrassing!

I love driving the IS2 in the snow, its good fun! Always liked a big of a challenge! LOL! Had a fair bit of snow in Leeds, just waiting to see how much comes over night tonight. Could be a trek getting to work tomorrow, I work 20miles away, and got big hills between home and work! Woot!

Just been out playing in the snow. Very deep in parts, above the ankle infact. You couldnt tell the difference between the street and the kerbs on my street, and the main road is just hectic. Looks like its been gritted, but cars sliding all over the place.

O, and some chavs in their vectra overtook on the main road, going down a hill, they was all over the road. Wish they had crashed and totaled their car

Well I drove into work today- got 5 bags of sand from B&Q yesterday (still couldn't move the IS2 off the drive so I borrowed dad's Audi A4 tdi to pick up the sandbags) and chucked them in the boot. Also dropped the rear tyre pressures as well, no problem getting into work this morning.

Mods:...WIM geometry setup & fine tune, K&N Air filter, Stainless steel A/C rings, Brodit phone kit, Stainless steel clock surround, B&M Shortshifter & LED Domelight, Maplight & Sun Visors, OEM Chrome exhaust tip, OEM rubber bootliner, Fan type windscreen washer jets, LS430 Side repeaters, OEM LE grille, OEM cargo net, Front OEM armrest

Good move :thumbup1: . All you need is a bit of weight in the boot really, that's the main problem with the IS200 in the snow.
