new car??
new car??
A few peeps sugested a Subaru Legacy B4 when I was thinking about changing. Why not spend the money your going to spend changing on a turbo or supercharger for your car?
I love the new Prius, but would be a bit gutted going from a Lexus to a hybrid, un-less you rack up a lot of miles, its not worth doing.
Not a big fan of the sportcross rear end. I'd have a IS300 saloon, but only if it'd been converted to manual.
And yes, talking mpg means your old before your time!
You'd be lucky to find a manual IS300 in the UK as it costs a bit to convert mainly to get the right gearbox and not many people actually own them so its not a popular conversion. It has the e-shift on the steering wheel which is a bonus to the normal auto of an IS200 and reason I bought one as I prefer manuals normally too.
If it''s gotta be a manual and you like the IS then use the money you were going to spend and turbo it for sure, you'll get a good bit of power and fun
The IS300 has a silky smooth auto box, I am told once you have had the pleasure of one you won't go back to manual.
There are a few Oil burners that will match the Prius for MPG - and be quicker.
Dan do you really want to start a Evo vs Scooby thread, it will go on forever as there are no winners there:LOCMOD:

Shh moley haha.
But seeing as the price of petrol, it is worth looking at MPG as you get more miles of of your money.
But it is very boring.
Dad get a sportcross.
Which prius are we talking about? I thought 3rd gen was the newest one that was literally just released?
Either way, we have the one I think you're all talking about (it's on an 07 plate) and we also get between 45-50mpg so it's very cheap to run. However I don't think I could drive one everyday as it's not my sort of car.
What about the GS450h? Older ones are quite reasonable pricewise, although you may not need a car as big as the GS.
