I have one of those second ones now that is going spare. I will check to see if it's 52mm or 60mm.

Think I will move these posts over into their own thread though, in a sec.

Edit - done.

Asi that second one cheap as hell

There might be some Subaru gauge pods for uk specs to look towards the driver's side, but i am not sure. The one that i have it is an autometer gauge pod for a USA Subaru Impreza/Forester.

Right, I was going to wait till I'd finished the whole thing before posting photos, but unfortunately my plans kind of went awry. I sent the gauge pod up to Charlesworth only half-finished and looking terrible, but in hindsight I should have kept hold of it and finished it off and then sent it up to them !

This isn't meant to be a walkthrough as such, but to just give some ideas of what work is involved.

ok, so it's the Impreza pod that I linked to above that I bought :

This is the idea, to get it joined onto the dash tray and have it looking sort of like this (rough mock-up) :

I bought a spare dash tray, so I could work on it with the pod and still have my OEM one in the car :

The dash tray needs cutting open so there will be room for the wiring etc, and make it easier to access the gauges from underneath. The vents just unclip and can be put to one side for now :

This shows roughly what portion of the pod needs cutting away to make it fit better (the white lines, which are at the back of the sides of the pod) :

Since those pics I started sanding the whole thing down to get rid of its dimply finish. Then it needs fixing to the dash tray and the holes in the sides filling, then the whole lot painted.
