Just a quick one to say that our family will soon be getting a new car to add to the fleet.
My mum hasn't been well recently but is now pretty much better, although she too has a heart problem (think it runs in our family :bored
.Anyway, she has been recently been looking at new cars with my dad and after looking at pretty mcuh all the Toyota range they started looking at Lexus. My mum loves my car and they used to have a GS so they know they are good cars. After having a new IS220d for a test drive they decided to get one. Then on the way to the showroom to order it my dad decided that she should get the 250 instead of the Diesel :thumbup1:
So one IS250 se-i with navigation has been ordered in black with the grey leather. car is due at the beginning of March, on the new reg mark.
What she doesn't know is that me and my Dad have gone back to Lexus and have since changed her order :laugh::laugh::laugh:
When she turns up to collect her car its going to be a bit different.......as it will now be the IS250C in black with the white leather and all the extra's.
Im sure she is going to be over the moon and i will update with pics when we have the car at home :thumbup1:

Great to hear she going to be spoiled though.
I have some OJC stickers here, but im pretty sure she won't let any of us near it! :laugh::Fish:
She currently doesn't have a car and hasn't had her own car for nearly 20 years now as she works for my dad so she used to just use his car or one of the work vans.
My dad is pretty funny, he doesn't spend much money on anything then now and then goes nuts! LOL they go on holiday about 3-4 times a year, but because my mum has been unwell he had some money lying about so thought he would treat her :tongue_smilie:

Was a right hassle, lexus where not happy as they have said they get finned £2k from headoffice for ordering cars for customers and then the customer not collecting that car:Chair: My Dad had to right a letter stating that he has chnaged his mind and now wants the 'C' instead so hopefully they don't get finned.:wink: right hassle!
He wasn't happy as they took a £1k deposit and they didn't give him any reciept and he hadn't signed anything at all. after he threatened to go to Lexus Derby they soon changed tune!

I think it was the colour combo she ordered, they said it would take 16 weeks as the car had to be made in japan in the colour/finish she wanted. :Fish:
