dilema
been working in current job for 5 years at a nissan dealer, the thing is a year ago when the car trade rearly hit the skids i applied for a field tech job with virgin, and today out of the blue a got a call and had a phone test, passed this and im having a interview tomorow, butt im scared its a case of better the devil you know were work is concerned, i.e what happens if virgin layoff a year down the line, when my other job is by home but less pay, i hate choices! would be gutted too leave the friends i work with too end up with nothing, providing i got the job in first place.
take the risk - you never get anywhere by sitting on the fence. Trust me I am doing something similar but putting everything on the line. (see outlaw lounge)
ive contacted virgin today too decline, the reasons are searching on internet virgin media are axeing 2500 jobs from now too 2012 so the futre would be 2mutch of a gamble for me
Why are they axing jobs then employing more? Sounds strange to me.
I always find it is better to take the interview etc & until they actually offer you a contract nothing is lossed. As LB says choice is yours but best to hear whats actually on offer before rejecting off hand. Good luck although it looks like you have made your mind up.
