Have you tried it with all the windows down lifting off at near max revs?
Was Supercharged Racing Green IS200 Sport. Now APR Stage 1 Seat Leon Cupra (220 Bhp).
Thing is you are inside the car for the first time as opposed to outside. You've got the firewall or windscreen between you and the noise as opposed to not much when you are outside the car. Just in the same way that your exhaust sounds different from inside than out.

if so take it out you dont need it. that also drops the sound.
also its only really audible when you at high revs.
Some people in Europe have closed the bypass on the charger permanently and that makes it louder.

filer is that the thing in the spout ? that you can change currently its a black/silver ill try removing it 2moz see if that makes a difference

nope not had the unit apart to get into that bit yet might try locking the bypass see how that goes then the filter if i need to
