Summer is fast approaching us so that means time to turn up the wick on the truck , So started by removeing the exhaust manifold as it had a few hair line crack,s this is probably down to age and also the tube used originally used was rather thin also were not Stainless steel

This pic shows the mess they were in before fitted to the truck , Also i used to run twin 50 mm HKS wastegates with a balance pipe This used to cause a fair bit of shuffle between the wastegates as the pressures are continously trying to balance one another

This shows the wastegates and all the pipework which was involved so all this has now been removed

This is how it looked up until a few weeks ago
So thanks to IKE Engineering i have had a complete one off manifold re made in Stainless Steel thick wall tube without a balance tube and also have decided to run with a single 60mm Wastegate ,Open Wastegate for sure so here is a pic of the new manifold
[Image: IMG_8868.jpg]

Have also had a custom exhaust made to fit the Twin.s

Current power fig is 560 BHP at 1,1 bar and now that the Twin 044 Feul pumps have been fitted there should be enough feul to take the boost to 1.6 bar should be interesting , I am also in the process of removeing the HKS cams or should i say changeing the profile from 256 Intake and 264 Exhaust ,Both will be changed to HKS 272 profiles intake and exhaust

Im told the Jap performance feature on the Supratruck is due out end of Feb:thumbup1:

What type of BHP you hoping for with this setup and cams Wayne? and will you be going Ferrari hunting as you've done the Porsche thing in the past :thumbup1:

Nice to see you have some time to spend on your own car, now the others have been pretty much done:thumbup:
