Are you sick and tired of paying the high fees to watch some simple TV?

35 quid for the sports package seems a rip off?

But want to keep it as you use the Sky+ feature alot?

Well just ring Sky up go through to the cancellation option (possibly retentions department) and say you want to cancel, and say you cant "afford" it anymore.

And its only a temp thing for maybe 4-5 months.

They probally turn around and offer you the same services at 50%, yes 50% !

I did it today, to cancel my subscription and managed to get my 4 package from £21 to £10.50.

And I did not have to push for it, all I said I want to temp cancel my package !

Go on try it !

Hmm might have a try on that.

its also good if you have sports/espn to find a team their not showing for a while and give that as your reason for cancelling sports.

if you cant get some channels sounds like the dish needs a bit of tweaking....

the only special tool my mate used was his dad sat watching the tele while he moved it.
but if you go into the "installer" menu (service, 0, 0, 1, select) then you can get a graph up with the strengths (on the old epg only) that can also be used to align the dish

Yea I see the signal strength screen.

No 1 has no strength at all but the quality meter is 3/4 of the way up!!
No 2 has 1/2 signal and strength.

0,0,1 also works in the new EPG but only from the screen with the spanner.

Will play with it tomorrow when I'm at home.

Yeah but in the new epg (sky HD) you cant see the graphs, well i cant see them anyway

Seems odd the signals are very different, maybe change the wire on the LNB to another input?
