Need a sadwich plate for the car
or is it worth buying the oil cooler kit that has a sandwich plate and move the filter at the same time ?

Just buy in thats fits a supra, thats what ive got and it fits perfectly,

Its a metal plate that goes between the engine and filter that has holes in it to fit gauge sensors.

Its a metal plate that goes between the engine and filter that has holes in it to fit gauge sensors.

Oil pressure, oil temp sensors,

also you use one when fitting an oil cooler to tap the pipes off to the cooler

not really mate, only a car that is really thrashed i suppose needs it, mine i;d say doesnt even really need one

If you fit a sandwich plate, don't you need to use a smaller oil filter due to lack of room ? If so, I'd go for oil filter relocation myself, then you can still use the proper-sized oil filter.
