dimis Ok, i have done some research and i have found that the Lexus IS200 has a J160 gearbox. Also Mazda MX5 MKII, Mazda RX8, Nissan S15 and I think also Honda S2000 have the same gearbox. So my question is, will the quick shift for these cars (MX5, RX8, S2000, S15) fit on the IS200???

I doubt it Dimis as its about how the stick pivots on its way into the cabin not the actual gearbox itself.

Was Supercharged Racing Green IS200 Sport. Now APR Stage 1 Seat Leon Cupra (220 Bhp).

I'm with edeath on this, although the basis of the gearbox are the same, I bet there are significant differences still, e.g. the shift.

IS200 Turbo project now just about complete ! See my thread here and leave your comments.
Now running standalone Syvecs ECU and no stock ECU !

i have the b&m one.

Was quite stiff when i first put ib and reverse difficult to get.. i dont know if im just used to it now but it gets all gears quite easily now.. its fantastic when pushing through gears quickly!

only drawback seems to be what gord mentioned.. at 80/90 it does seem to vibrate and make a bit of noise but i just turn the stereo up!
