Just changed the oil on my car
And in a word, unless you have a tool for the oil filter, DONT! LOL!
Its too small a space to work in. cared:
Am cut and scratched. Managed to do it, but was cleaning my blood off my tools when I had finished! LOL! hock:
So will leave that job to a garage next time, is shocking how little room there is to get to the oil filter! Unless I buy the proper tool anyway.
While I was there, I fitted two more silicone hoses, so thats coolent and power stearing done.
Just got two left for brakes lines at back of engine bay, going to get these done when I get some braded hoses. :w00t:
Busy day!
must be tight, you may be okay next time though as long as you haven't put it on too tight and be able to undo it by hand. It is a tight gap on my IS300 too but put it on a ramp and had to go between the steering arms and into the bay but undid it by hand, nice only hand tight up so should be the same next time!!
The hoses look good though mate, once all fitted and your healed it'll be polishing cloth time
That engine bay really needs a clean mate . It's a lot easier and quicker than you might think though.
Follow Bandit's tip and get some Tyre Dandy tyre foam (you can look for it on eBay). Warm the engine up a bit, then turn it off and spray the foam onto the metal, plastic and rubber etc. Leave it for a few minutes and then wipe it off. You'll be amazed at the difference !
This is just for a quick job, obviously you can spend more time and effort on it and it'll be even better
Good job done mate, i find if you go under the car from the passenger side, you can get a good grip of the filter, still tight and does help if you have long arms and big hands  Drop your engine bay round mate and i'll give it a clean for you :thumbup1:

The two that you have left are the heating pipes and not the brake lines mate.
