2tongues yea I don't like SKY as a company because they messed me around, but can't justify the extra to change.

i am in same boat mate.
cant wait to renew elsewhere.
i still feel that SKY ripped me off when i changed to my evo from my s14
difference in insurance was around £250 but that was going tpft to fully comp but that wasnt made clear.

i wanted tpft so when i phoned em back an explained this their words were "the deposit will be £50 less and the payments remain the same"
so i was happy till it came to payment day to see my payments doubled.
when i called them their infamous words were "you was told repayments would remain the same"
but what it meant is payments stay the same as when they slipped up and changed it to fully comp.
would cancel but by the time i pay the difference and renew elsewhere i am even more outta pocket.

so when it comes to renewal time even if they're £100 cheaper then i'm going elsewhere.

Sky prices are good if you never change the policy, but the admin and other charges are over the top.

I am still waiting for my two call backs from November :Chair: I did an online quote with A/F and it was more than Admiral anyhow though.

Don't get me wrong I wanted to go to A Flux, really if they had been within £50 to 100 I would have gladly given them the business, but when the difference is £320, I would rather take the risk of admin charges.

A Flux can re-quote as they have until the 28th feb - PM me if you are reading this!!

im due to renew and found churchill want an extra £160 this year!!

i have no points compared to last year, 8 years no claims, everything else the same!

gotta do some shopping around on monday as i think over £600 a year is way too much considering its garaged and less than 10k miles a year..

however, im pretty sure i wont go with sky as they seem to have a lot of issues, i remember a few on the owners club...

yeah, tell me about it..

i have no idea why its so much.. or why they have put it up so much..

When speaking to the customer retention team they said that it may be due to a rise in claims on the vehicle type or in my area..

judging by the no of 'oh no, another accident' threads im thinking it may be the first!

there is also the pointy that some companies, inc churchill dont give you any further no claims discount after 5 years.....
